Harvest for the Poor teaches Haitian Children to Read

“Teaching 13-17 Year Old Children to Read for the First Time in Their Lives”

Our mission is to change people’s lives through a variety of outreach venues.  We assist immigrant families by helping them to settle in the United States. and provide humanitarian aid to Haiti. We strive to meet human needs without discrimination. Our message is based on the Bible. Our ministry is motivated by the love of God. Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and believe that through Christ everything is possible.

OUR MISSION + VISION

Harvest for the Poor is a ministry that serves at-risk families in Haiti. Our mission is to help children in Haiti escape poverty so that they may experience God’s love, become part of a healthy home, and grow into who the best that they can be - either in Haiti or abroad.

“When I first arrived in Haiti, I was shocked by the destruction and poverty. When I saw the one-on-one help delivered by Harvest for the Poor, the smiles on children’s faces, it made me want to help too.”

— Claresse Jackson, Ministry Partner
